Or at least understand why your religion is against it. It's like Wikipedia is not a valid source, so you should read Wikipedia's sources.

Right. Like I've heard people say they're against war because "We are all God's children and I wouldn't want to kill my brothers" and that makes sense, but then there was this girl I knew whose mom said that Harry Potter is evil because her pastor said so and it would teach kids to become witches.

No one said you can't use that as a reason. It's just not a very good one, and if you're going to even try to argue that it is, you need to take a class on logic.
