You find it unnecessary that musicians make movies about themselves, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
It depends on who the artist/musician is.

Like Katy Perry. I mean a documentary for her fans is fine I suppose but why does it need to be in theaters?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Why not put it in theaters? Is it really hurting anyone? If you don't want to watch it, then don't watch it.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I don't plan on watching but I still have a right to complain about it. From my perspective, it just shows Hollywood can't come up with anything better so they choose to drown us with crap.
by Anonymous11 years ago
But it doesn't affect you, so why bother complaining about it? Go watch a movie that you think is not crap.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I enjoy complaining. It's a big part of my life (in case anyone hasn't noticed).
by Anonymous11 years ago
Well also, if they have crap movies out there, there won't be more of the movies that are actually good that more people want to see in theaters.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Just because you think it will be a crap movie doesn't mean no one will go see it.

The Spice Girl's movie is the one exception.

8 mile was pretty good.

...Yes it was.

I find it unnecessary that musicians make movies about themselves, but I'm speaking for myself! I can't fuckin read your mind! GET OFF MY BACK!
by Anonymous11 years ago
Are you ok? You seem to have occasional bouts of rant spasms. I'm starting to get concerned.

Only Spinal Tap.

The human race survived hundreds of thousands of years without making a single movie. What exactly is a "necessary" movie?
by Anonymous11 years ago
U2 made a movie a while back, featuring a few of their cover songs. Great flick. Of course this was before Bono was a turd.

I actually quite enjoyed the "This Is It" Michael Jackson movie that came out a few years ago. Some are a little ridiculous, but I guess people want to see them.
