It's not actually that short for a girl to be 5' 2", amirite?

People tell me I'm short but I'm 5'5...I'd say 5'2 is pretty short

It depends on the age. A three year old girl is still a girl.

I think anon meant that it's tall for certain ages and short for others. The whole "A 3-year old girl is still a girl" is elaborating on this, because the post just says girl and didn't indicate an age.

I am 5'1" and get called short all the time, but I don't feel like I'm short! Most of my friends are this around height or shorter, so everyone else must be just tall

In the US, the average height for a woman is 5'4". I figure two inches either way counts as still average, so anywhere from 5'2" to 5'6" is about normal.

I'm 5'1 3/4" and it's very important for me to tack on that 3/4". I'm a junior and I can count all the girls in my grade who are shorter than me on one hand. So yeah, it's pretty short for a fully grown female, but at the same time, it's still kinda average.

I'm 5'2" & my bestfriend (who is a girl) is 6'2". Since I'm always around her I'm just considered to be extremely short because compared to her I am.
