+414 It would be pretty cool if you could write out the alphabet, numbers, and punctuation, upload it to Microsoft Word, and have it create a font in your personal handwriting, amirite?

I've created fonts that way before, it just costs money.

Aha! I knew I'd find a comment here about how you can do it and that it exists. So... How exactly //did// you do it?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Um, I'm pretty sure I just googled "make a font" and used the most reliable-looking site that came up. You print out a piece of paper that has a section for each character, write them in, scan it, and then submit it to the website.

How much was it??

by Anonymous 11 years ago

$15, but that was because I wanted all the characters, I think.

That's not so bad. But my parents would definitely scold me for wasting money.

There was a website that did just that but then it died.

There's a tablet than can do that. TheSlowMoGuys did a review on it. Then Dan shot a paintball at Gavin's face, so he used it as a shield. It actually didn't break.

I did it for free once, just look a little harder for a free website.

I've done it, but got frustrated with how my scanner copied my font. Gave it up :-/
