Nope. According to God and Jesus, the bible is the WORD of God and everything that happened in it is absolutely true.

You're a dumbass. Those are the beliefs held by Christians. The bible is the literal word of God, written by man. But it's still the word of God.

Neither God nor Jesus has ever shown up and said "Hey, the Bible is word of God", therefore you cannot say that "according to God and Jesus, the Bible is the word of God." God does not communicate verbally with man. God did not dictate the Bible, especially seeing as it was written and rewritten by multiple people, multiple times. The Bible is the word of humans. More religious (and non-religious, because they often look just as ridiculous as people like you) people need to study these texts from a factual, UNBIASED point of view, otherwise they'll just continue to spew the garbage dictated to them.

Yes I look ridiculous..when I know more about the Christianity religion than you. The bible states that God and Jesus have both proclaimed their word to be law, I know men wrote the bible, but they were listening to the words of Jesus as he walked the Earth and according to them that's what Jesus said. So according to Christianity the word of the bible is to be taken literally and true. And if you can't read the bible correctly, that's not my fault.

The Bible was written to be taken literally. However, it was written by Man, even though it IS the Word of the LORD, therefore this is *probably* error within it's pages.

Morals and values don't come from the bible and the bible often contradicts what would be considered moral.

it supposedly hasnt been "rewritten" but "more clearly translated"...or so my christian mother says. im agnostic. but i do enjoy debates :)
