Just because I'm a freshman doesn't mean I'm automatically an annoying little dumbass who thinks he knows everything, amirite?

Freshman are just so naive, and they've got this top dog attitude from running the middle school, that's mainly what makes them annoying.

I know how you feel, but seriously once your an upperclassman your gonna know exactly why people hate you. But the way I think of it was I hated being "bagged" on, so don't do it to the freshman then!

It actually varies from year to year. When I was a junior in high school, there were only 1 or 2 freshmen who annoyed the shit out of me, but my senior year pretty much all the freshmen were annoying.

At my school it was like the older you got the less the freshmen bothered you, and the more you would just ignore them and go about your separate life.

Well yeah, there's going to be annoying kids in every class, that doesn't mean that every single freshman is like that. It's a really overused stereotype that I find irritating, and yes I know I know "you'll feel the same way when you're an upperclassman". It's just annoying to me that people assume every single incoming freshman is going to be obnoxious. I am the quietest kid ever, I know that I'm not the top dog of anything.

If you're posting this because you're a freshmen, my tip is never mention it to the upperclassmen and they'll treat you okay. This year I've had so many of my older friends tell me they didn't know I was a freshmen last year, because I didn't tell them and I "didn't act like it", whatever that means.

I never had any problems with upperclassmen... And now that I'm older I don't have a problem with freshmen. If they're nice to me, I'll be nice to them :)

Some freshmen are assholes and some aren't. I know more sophomores that are total douches than freshmen, because the freshmen know they're at the bottom of the ladder but the sophomores think they're hot shit.

Freshmen can be annoying sometimes, but pretty much every grade is annoying for different reasons. Freshmen are because they just got done ruling over their middle-school counter-parts. Sophomores are because they think they're cool because they're not freshmen anymore. Juniors are because they think they're practically seniors. Seniors can be really annoying sometimes, too, but everyone lets it slide because it's their last year and they sort of deserve to do whatever. At least, this is how it is at my high school.
