This is stupid. The Second Amendment deals with maintaining a well-regulated militia. A well-regulated militia includes ammunition for its weaponry, otherwise it's not a well-regulated militia.

I've never understood why people use the "well-regulated militia" thing as an excuse for allowing guns. With the shitloads of money the government pours into the military, if the military and police ever DO become overly power-hungry (which is the only way the American public could ever really be suppressed in the first place) they're fucked with or without guns. I might be wrong, because I'm not an American so I'm not completely clued up, but if I am wrong can someone please explain why?
