10:00 pm is an incredibly early curfew for a 16-year-old during summer break, amirite?

My curfew was 8:30. Don't be so ungrateful.

you're curfew is even more ridiculous. it doesn't make the other one less so

I think 10 p.m. is perfectly reasonable for a 16-year-old.

The curfew in my town for minors is 10:00. If you are wandering around outside your house at 10:01, the police will stop you and drive you home in their car...

That's actually a curfew for minors by law. I might be mistaken, but I think it's a federal law

I think you are mistaken, however, I might be mistaken about you being mistaken.

It was 1am in my town... but that was when I was 16. It could have changed.

I'd wager that it's actually a //city// imposed law. In my state, there is one city with a remarkably high crime rate, however, I live in one of the safest towns in America. I know that there's a curfew in the dangerous town, but I'm quite certain that there is none in my town.

17 and my curfew is 6pm all year round.
I believe I win xD

Actually, you lose. You lose bad.

Sarcasm is a wonderful thing.

Maybe your parents want you back before things get scary. After all, you are their baby.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I guess it depends on where you live. I live in a really safe area so at 16 I don't have a curfew. I think I just have to be home before the sun comes up.

I'm 19, engaged, and my curfew is 10:00 when my parents have work the next day. I don't argue because I respect them. And because I'm generally tired pretty early anyway.

Just feel lucky you're not like my friend who is 18 and has a curfew of 8. Not to mention she's not allowed to stay home while her mom goes to the grocery store. 10 pm isn't all that ridiculously early, it's only 2 hours short of legal curfew for a 16 year old in my city.

And I thought being seventeen and having a midnight curfew was ridiculous...
