I presume you're confused about the second part of the sentence. I was just trying to describe the sun's overwhelming presence (the heat) during the summer.

-sigh- I live in florida. The leaves don't change colors and won't even fall off the trees until a few months from now, and it'll be a couple of weeks before it's cooler.

Allow me to make a list of all the reasons fall is the best season: Leaves changing colors Bonfires Tobacco barns smoking (it smells delicious if you don't know) The temperature is perfect There are two great holidays which include fabulous food and candy and dressing up You can wear jeans without burning You don't really have to use the heat or air conditioning The fall stuff comes out at Starbucks The fall stuff comes out at bath and body works It's great weather for hiking It smells good outside Spiced apple cider is available
