You've bought at least one item of clothing because it was "cool" or "popular", amirite?

Excuse my hipsterness, but, though this isn't an article of clothing, I think it counts. I pretty much always wear my hair in a bun because I don't like it being in my face. Then, maybe a month or two ago, those sock bun things got ridiculously popular, and in the last four days, I've been asked if my hair was in a sock bun at least seven times. I always sort of murmur in retort, "No, this is just my hair." Then they say, "Oh" disappointedly and go back to whomever they were talking to previously.
Yeah, I know; cool story, bro.

My hair was red before Rihanna (and before it got really popular and suddenly everyone had it).
It's funny though because now that a lot of people are dying their hair red, I want mine to be bubblegum pink.

Dye it. Quick, before it goes mainstream.

Oh, bollocks. I totally misread this post, and now I look like a douche. I read the post, "You've bought at least one item of clothing //before// it was 'cool' or 'popular', amirite?"

I never got in to the whole buying trendy things. Like uggs, silly bands, those fake ray ban look a like glasses, etc

I bought some Vans because a lot of people at my school had them, but now I love them and wear them everyday because they match with everything.
