-21 How do you actually find someone that you know you'll want to kiss every day? Someone that you're both compatible with in humor, intelligence, morals, looks, and in bed? If I really think about it, I don't know if anyone out there could be my idea of a "perfect" man. I doubt I'm the only person feeling this way, amirite?

You first have to make yourself the "perfect" mate. By working on your issues, becoming who you are and growing as a person, then you attract someone of a like mind.

The point is you love someone even though they aren't perfect

...and therefore, you will grow old alone, with only your cats to keep you company? Just trying to relate the post to the topic.

It's even scarier cause people change. I'm not the same person I was a year ago, so my idea of perfect isn't what it was a year ago. So what happens if I DO find someone I'm compatible with in humor, intelligence, morals, and then all my ideas and morals change and I'm stuck with a person who has a completely different outlook on life?

If you find someone that's in it for the long run with you, hopefully they'll change and develop at the same speed as you as you experience things together.

That sounds kinda comforting. But people can change at the same speed but in different directions, fostering different interests and just ending up totally different people.

Then the thing you now have in common is love for one another.

Even if they aren't my definition of the "perfect" man, it's hard to imagine that there is someone out there who I am so compatible with that I'll want to be with them forever.

I'd be perfect. Jk. My morals are shit and I'm not very funny.

Ha I see where the negative votes are coming from but nonetheless I feel the same way as the OP.

If they change so much over a period of time that you aren't compatible with them in any way, then obviously they aren't the one for you, but someone out there is.
