We say that the people who give the best relationship advice are always the ones who can't seem to find their "someone" but maybe they're still single because their advice isn't that great after all, amirite?

In my experience those people are still single because they either think too much when in relationships, or they simply don't follow their own advice. perfect example, my roommate had lived abroad 16 years, told everyone we met about how to avoid being cheated in love - happened to him less than 2 weeks after this one time he lectured a guy we know for 25 minutes solid on the topic. I could give you awesome financial advice, but still be broke myself because I'm just addicted to shopping or a total alcoholic blowing all my money on booze. If i followed my own advice then I might just be a bit richer

thats a good point but it could be that whoever is giving advice is finding that whoever they want to be in a relationship with is being, well... "unadvisory", therefore, they get pissed because they know what their ownself wants and think "wtf are you doing?"
