+205 We cannot truly see our own eyes or even our faces. We can only see our reflections. Now, let's think about that in relation to our personality. That's pretty deep, amirite?

I can see the tip of my nose That's part of my face Also, does this thought have depth or does it merely sound deep? I'm not sure yet (however, I'm also really tired at the moment, so my thinking might just be... er, not working)

Well we can't directly see/hang out with our personality, we can only see the reflection of it through other people. That's what I think the post meant, at least. hmm

Not exactly, no You need other people to be able to evaluate your own personality, as humans are social creatures and most traits show through social interaction What you say seems very plausible And even if it wasn't the meaning of my post, I think it's still a very interesting thought

it's supposed to have depth what I meant by faces is seeing the face as a whole I can see my nose, my lips, and the tops of my cheeks but I wouldn't be able to recognize myself with these aspects without something such as mirror reflections now, the reflections in a mirror and reflecting over a thought are two different things if we think about our personality we don't really view our personality subjectively we sorta can actually see bits and pieces of it for what they truly are but we may be ignorant of how we really are we might exaggerate some flaws and then make excuses for others Then again, people have their own interpretations

Photographs?

I would put them in reflections like a mirror can see the image but it's not the original you just a image

What about when you look into a reflection of a reflection of yourself? You're oriented the exact same way, and the light that reflects off the mirrors and into your own eyes is the same as the light that reflects off your face and into other people's eyes.
