+112 If the gov't was to ask the question "Are you a US citizen?" on the upcoming census (disregarding the amount of money it would take to do this) they wouldn't really get and idea of how many people are really in this country, amirite?

Census isn't really about the # of people, it's meant to count the number of people for purposes of representation; counting illegals who can't vote and do not have reps gives a more realistic number of people, but a skewed number for representation, thus causing the census to fail in its purpose
