+127 Sometimes it seems like no matter how many times you watch a certain movie there's always that one extremely suspenceful part where you're on the edge of your seat and your mentally shouting at the characters even though you already know what's going to happen, amirite?

When I went to see the Hunger Games I practically shit myself when the dogs jumped out, even though I've read the books twice and I knew it was coming.

Similarly, when I re-read a book I sometimes really expect that the characters will see the error of their ways and save themselves, as though the pages will magically be rewritten.

I'm not sure if you're a fan of Harry Potter, but that's what I had in mind when I wrote this. Although I wrote movie, I was thinking about the fifth book where Harry sees Sirius getting tortured by Voldemort and rushes to go save him. Every single time I'm just like, "Nooo! Listen to Hermione! Don't go!" I always hope that if I reread that book enough times it'll change for me because Harry finally listened to me =P

I love Harry Potter! But when I read this post I immediately thought of the Inheritance Cycle, where Brom took a dagger for Eragon. I always think, "We've been here before guys, we know what happens. SURELY you won't do the same thing you did last time. Come on, save yourselves!!!" But no matter how many times I read it Brom still dies in exactly the same way :(

But I think when I've rewatching something I'm sitting there going "you idiot we tried this it didn't work!" And I think I almost get more intense about it
