+164 Even if you live in a democracy, it's ridiculous that things like gay marriage being legal are voted on. Sure people in a democracy vote on things, but this isn't something people should be voting on. It would be ridiculous to justify the right to dye your hair or marry someone of the same sex on popular opinion, it affects no one but the people involved, why should gay marriage be any different? amirite?
