+108 It's weird to think that maybe the country that you live in is the one that some student in Geography class is struggling to put on the map or spell its name right, amirite?

But it's pretty hard to miss the USA on a map.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's not that tough to spell either.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That's true. States, then.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I can only think of like 4 states that are hard to spell. Connecticut Massachusetts Louisiana California New Hampshire and Vermont as well as Wyoming/Colorado states can be easy to mix up and some times Kansas and Nebraska can get mixeu up but otherwise it's pretty easy.

Though I could be biased since I am an American.

Mississippi? To someone not used to english, that word is ridiculously hard.

I knew I was forgetting something!

If you asked me to identify American states on a map, I could probably do California, Texas and Washington. And Alaska and Hawaii, obviously. Australian states are super easy, but that's because there are six of them.

Doubt it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yea, some people actually think I make up where I'm from :/

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Where are you from? If you don't mind me asking

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Palau.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Haha yeah never heard of it...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

When I was in the US, the number of people who thought I was from Austria was astounding. Although I probably couldn't identify Austria on a map...
