I don't vote for the same person as my parents simply because they're my parents. I vote for who I want to win, not who my parents do or don't.

I never said anything about the why's or illuded to that it was only for spite. I said that most teenagers political views are not the same as their parents.

Well that's how I took the post to mean, and I think that's the way a lot of people understood it. Either way, I still have to NW the post because I am voting for the same person as my parents.

Nah. We're all democrats

There are quite a few political parties here, but the only 2 that actually stand a chance of winning the election are the ANC (currently elected) and the DA. Since the ANC is mostly corrupt and racist against white people and the DA is all about equality and service delivery, it's not surprising that my parents and I all support the DA.

Both my parents, both my brothers, and me usually root for the same candidate.

My entire family supports Obama. Every single living member.

I've grown up in an extremely liberal bubble, but I've grown to like Obama on my own account.
