Depending on what type of shoe you're buying, maybe. But you're paying for two pairs of shoes. A regular pair of Toms is about 55-ish dollars, so 27.50 for each pair. That's about a regular-ish price you would pay at any other store. That covers the cost of making both pairs, the shipping and handling to both you and the other country they're sending the shoes to, and of course profit they want to be making (And I'm sure there are other money factors too, I'm no expert). I would say it's a fair deal considering the awesomeness of what the company stands for.
