It depends on when I die. I would like to die at a reasonable age.

But say you die in a car crash tomorrow, what does it matter? You won't care because you'll be dead

In the last hour of life I would care. Or 10 minutes or whenever it registers in my mind that I am about to die. You do make a good point though.

The question is asking if you care now. Obviously if you're dead, you're dead and it makes no difference.

I see no point in living. My living self does not care whether or not I remain living. But that's just me I suppose
