Actually, in Denmark, you get money for going to school, if you are 18 or over! Denmark! FUCK YEAH!

that sounds pretty great are taxes higher in Denmark? I ask because I know of a country that has high taxes, but the citizens are covered for so many great things like health, transportation, education, etc

Yes, taxes are high. It hasn't really forced people out in poverty, more forced them to think before they purchase something. Our backs are covered with all of the mentioned, which ensures, that EVERYBODY can get an education, be it rich or poor
