+14 Bruno Mars: if you did something so bad you got locked out of heaven, then we shouldn't be listening to your music, amirite?

Heaven is relative.

He's not saying he's actually locked out of heaven. He's saying the girl is so perfect, she makes him feel like he's been missing out for a long time.

Someone takes songs way too literally..

You obviously are taking the lyrics way too literally. The song in itself has nothing to do with religion. It's basically a metaphor about sex. So he didn't do anything to be locked out of heaven, just in that moment with a girl he feels like in bliss as if he's been missing out for so long. Hence, "you make e feel like I've been locked out of heaven for too long". Again, it's all a metaphor. Wether you choose to listen to him or not don't base it off of what you simply came up about the meaning to his lyrics. Cause what you think, and what he meant when he wrote it, are two completely different things.
