+19 Abortion is a very polarizing issue but abortion rights should never be voted on by someone who will never have to make the decision to have one, amirite?

I'm male and I'm pro-choice. You would want that vote to count, no?

I disagree, abortion affects the fathers as well as the mothers.

But it is easier for the father to just leave if he decides it's too much for him. So it affects the mother more, therefore it should mainly be up to the mother. Plus, why bring an unwanted kid into the world?

It affects women primarily and men secondary. Men should be allowed to have a say, but I do think women's opinions when it comes to abortion are more important.

So are you talking about only men, or do you think sterile and post-menopausal women should be excluded too.

If we could take the aborted babies and give them a say as well as the women, then it would be equal. But we can't. Also, don't say that aborted babies aren't human without saying a reason because the entire reason that people argue against abortion is that they think they are human.
