It is very much indeed, although I did recently get an iPhone and I had an iPod touch. I think that they design their iPods better than any other MP3 players on the market. I also really like the simplicity of the iPhone. I hate macs though, they are ridiculous. Also, the iPhone 5 is merely a faster, bigger iPhone 4S, which is merely a faster iPhone 4.
