+168 You never know a person completely until you travel, live or drink with them, amirite?

..more like just lived with them. this is when you get to know the person's real character.

all except the drinking part. I like to drink and I like to drink with people but doesn't tell me much about them.

I sleep when I travel, unless I'm driving. I'm not really all that sleepy normally though. I don't think I know everything about my family, and I've been living with them for my whole life. Different people are different when they're drunk, obviously. I don't think that the drunk version or buzzed version of a person is an accurate representation of them as a whole, and I don't think it reveals any sort of deep dark side of them.

In vino veritas. Alcohol bring down inhibitions. A drunk man certainly acts different than when he's sober, and the fact he's less careful is normal. But in these moments, he may show his true colors.

if your short on time you can live with them on your travels while drinking with them. Or you can sleep with them, whichever makes more sense and takes less time.

Though it will bring you closer, everyone has secrets. I live with my family and I only recently decided to tell them something I'd been dealing with for a while. I think you mean personality - I think through these things you get the gist of someone's personality, but you don't really, fully, completely know them.

We don't even know/understand ourselves completely.
