+217 It seems like people are treating bisexuality as nothing more than a trend. It's one thing to be attracted to someone of the same sex, but a completely different story when you start to have true feelings for them, amirite?

People will always treat what's different as just a "phase" or "trend" Parents will go "Oh my son really isn't gay he's just in a phase for sucking dick!" or "My daughter really isn't bisexual, she's just following some dumb trend of making out with both guys and gals." And then they all talk about how their children will soon get over this phase/trend/whatever. People are afraid of what they don't know...

i agree completely. i am a girl, and my first love was a girl. people tend to act like they'll date either or when really, they just like the attention it brings.
