I think the reason it will never end is because there will always be hate and evil. As long as those emotions and feelings exist, some humans will find reasons and justifications to senselessly kill others.

No, just saying that there will NEVER be a point in humanity when ALL people on the planet want and will agree to peace. Evil and haters exist. Nobody can change them [unless their minds and wills are altered], so we must live with the ugly reality. If we decide to clone an entire new race, maybe we could weed it out somehow - but still unlikely.

Point well taken. It only takes a few bad apples (or something like that). I was just thinking of how bad it would have to suck for us to want peace to preemptively kill the troublemakers. I trust I'll never know.
