the government itself can be scary but the faith people have in it is not scary considering I don't see people having much faith in it

Yes. That is truly what terrifies me. And also when people say they don't care to know about politics or government because it doesn't "interest" them. It kills me.

Most Americans are not that naive and don't trust much to any leader. It is obvious based upon the poll that the American people sure don't trust Congress seeing their approval rating is just 16% http://www.gallup.com/poll/180962/congress-starts-off-year-job-approval.aspx
