Always thought it would sound hick to other people, maybe an overpronounciation of the "ee" etc

It's just in the USA they try too hard to sound butch and macho so they sound different and think it's everyone else that has an accent, when really the correct way to speak would be with a British accent cause well they invented the language

I know that everyone has an accent to someone else, but I didn't know that a Canadian accent (I'm Canadian), would sound much more different then an American (or even in some cases an English) one, let alone being "cute"..
