Does the solar eclipse and the trajectory of the moon and position of the sun make creationism more believable than the big whack theory?

Not really. I still say that science, and God, are not too far apart.

It seems too much of a coincidence that the moon could get into a position where it covers the sun perfectly from the viewpoint of earth

The moon and earth are spinning around the sun in a continuous-repetitive circle. Eventually, they will align with each other. It's not a coincidence - it's distance and speed. That's how you can predict when it will happen.

It does for me! While watching the eclipse I couldn't help but wonder about the intricacy of 'it all'. The interaction of all the stuff in the Universe - how tiny and insignificant we are and yet God made our planet and all that's on it to enjoy it all and praise Him.

[I know, no logic or science-y stuff. Just amazement and wonder for the Lord.]

What does the orbit of the moon and its totally predictable and interesting occasional juxtaposition with the orbit of the earth have to do with creationism theory?? If the Big Bang did not cause the sun, the earth and the moon to position themselves where they are, we would not be here to witness them in the first place. The better question is what made the Big Bang go "bang" to begin with?

If it seems like too much of a coincidence to you, gypsyking, then you should never buy lottery tickets because the probability of winning one of those Powerball jackpots is even less of a coincidence than a solar eclipse!
