The wealth of the nations are siphoned off to wasteful expenditure. Cinema is a great wasteful expenditure.People are taken for a ride by the cinema people. Military gets priority over people's hunger.Digital world making people robots. Most of the changes are affecting peace on earth

There has always been wars, that aside...the world was a much better place in the 40-60s...I don't the world is getting any better..too much pressure, people being killed every day, safety and not enough freedom...

It isn't a straight line in either direction. In general though, I believe the percentage of people suffering is much less today than it was even 100 years ago. Going back further than that, it just gets worse and worse.

Will things continue to get better? I certainly hope so, but I fear the worst.

Change for good or bad is in the hands of humans as the "dominant species" as usual we seem to screw things up and mess with things we shouldn't but if we tried to make changes that benefit us and all life the world would be a lot better.

For some it is getting better - third world countries for instance. For others it is getting worse. Diluting America is making Americans strangers in their own country without the protections of the invaders. Shutting down our government does not make things better for the citizens of this country.
