Yup ... Germany then Canada. Man we sure screwed up on a few events.

I was watching the women's aerials last night. The weather wasn't good enough to run that event. Too much wind. Lot's missed the landing, either going to fast or not fast enough.

Not a real fair event ... imo

I didn't see it but heard about the wind earlier.

I did that way back when I was in my 20's. The wind and snow condition really affects the height of the jump.
I'm hoping they will learn from that event with the men's aerials.

There's one guy, I think from Japan who will perform the first quadruple twisting quad.
Four back flips, four twist. That's insane!

Norway has the best doping system in the world.

And suddenly, most of the testers are Norries... How did that happen?

Yup .... they are good. But you gotta be impressed that we have 15 medals so far.

I guess?
I may be in the minority, but......I find the whole "medal count" diatribe a major turn-off. What could be more thrilling than Czech Ester Ledecka, a snow boarder, beating all the A-listers for a gold medal.........and then, not even realizing it!? ......or Spanish skater Javier Fernandez winning a Bronze----a first for Spain! To me.....THESE are the Gold moments for the Olympics and they far outweigh any medal count. Hooray for the little people......hooray, merely for the spirit of the Olympic spirit.

Yeah, to be honest, the Gold medal count is stupid if you don't have Silver and Bronze to lead in the medal count. JMO.

I see your point FR.

They are looking really good for gold and total. Last olympics Russia was first and Norway second for golds. US took second for total medals. The US is not having a great year this time but it is still great to watch. There are a lot of underdogs winning and that makes it fun.

I agree about lot of underdogs winning. China won 2 medals in women's aerials, silver and bronze. Belarus got gold which they always place somewhere on the podium.

Canada's doing well, but missed out on gold on at least 5 events.
