Haha! So let me get this straight as I'm now totally **** confused.

Russia is banned from competing at these Olympic games, which means the Olympic athletes from Russia now have to be called the Olympic athletes from Russia.

Well I guess that will of taught Russia and all the Olympic athletes from Russia a real serious lesson and I guess they'll never ever do it again.

Wait a minute...

Yes they did, in fact a lot of them. Go to the Olympic page and you'll see that there is no Russian flag, just a "Olympic Athlete from Russia." with an Olympic logo.

The thing that has me confused, is why the hell would you use drugs for something like "curling, which is just shuffleboard on ice?" It's not like it's a real sport.

According to the IOC Anti-Doping Rules, samples collected in the 12 hours prior to competition through to the end of a competition will be analyzed for all substances and methods on the 2018 WADA Prohibited List. A competition is equal to a single race, match or game.

They are tested whenever they are asked, could be before and after the competition.

Yeah, but it shouldn't matter with curling. They shouldn't even worry about it. That is not an athletic sport; it's just a game. Geezers play it without breathing heavy.

Curlers should be tested for drugs that enhance concentration if anything. I remember, a couple of years ago, it was in the news that college students were abusing Adderall and Ritalin to help them better focus. Curling and ,if it were and olympic competition, darts might want to test for those.

I always thought so. I guess if you increase the weight of the object sliding across the ice to 43 pounds, it somehow becomes a sport?? In some ways, it just looks like a modified version of "marbles", that we played as kids.

They banned most of the athletes before the games for doping, but I guess they let the rest go under a different name called Olympic Athletes from Russia. Look at the logo, it's not a Russian flag.

I think they regret allowing them to compete, especially if this guy is indeed guilty.

Big problem is that they have 11 medals ... well minus one. They should strip them from all the medals.
