We live 2 miles from the Olympic Training Center and we've been over there a few times to watch them train. Know a few of the Judo Olympians.

I used to work with a girl called Peta who was a really nice person although seemed quite shy, then within a few years she had become captain of the womens softball team that won a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.

Yes, I met Mark Spitz once when he came to Sacramento a few years after his Olympic feats. Nice young man, I enjoyed talking to him.

Yes, Jeff Bean competed in men's Canadian aerial freestyle. When I worked at Ikon office solutions, our branch sponsored him through out his tours. Played golf with him a few times in Lake Placid.

Now he's coaching Australia's women's aerials.
