Agree Carla.
It's awesome, what a difference a little ink and a good design can make.

My oldest daughter got one to cover up scars that created while going through a very emotional period. She used to cut herself and had scars all over her wrist. She now has a tattoo that says "Hope". She said she did it to serve as a reminder that if she ever felt the need to cut again that there was always hope and she didn't need to do it.

Well that is good. How well will the ink cover a deep scar? I have several from all my medical treatments over the years. Mostly they don't show but it is fun to paste on a temp tattoo sometimes.

In response to “would you ever have a tattoo Lorraine ?”
Serenity. I really don't like seeing people all inked up. But I had open heart surgery way back and the scar is wide and white. It is fun to slap i on a fake, but a real one I would think of if I wanted to wear lots of low cut shirts - now I usually wear turtlenecks or something that stays just above. I have a small scar on my wrist from some IV and always anew Dr asks what is that like I might of cut myself or something. So a little pretty thing over that would be a good place to practice.

I think because of her age at the time they didn't think Vanity was an issue and I suppose they were right.

DS thanks for the suggestion. I have tried all kinds of scar treatments, it has to be done when fresh and healing to make any difference. not awful really I am rather a modest person so keeping covered isn't a hardship. People I know well like a BF don't really notice after they get used to it.

I have used it a lot and the scars disappear completely. You can get a bottle of "Pure Vitamin E Skin Beauty Oil" at the cosmetics counter, or poke a hole in a capsule and squeeze the oil out. It has to soak in, so put it on when you can leave the skin bare for a while.
