In response to “Eh COMMON SENSE always confuses you wicked...

Some writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively by uniting our affections, the latter negatively by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher. Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer. Government, like dress, is the badge of lost innocence; the palaces of kings are built on the ruins of the bowers of paradise. For were the impulses of conscience clear, uniform, and irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver; but that not being the case, he finds it necessary to surrender up a part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest; and this he is induced to do by the same prudence which in every other case advises him out of two evils to choose the least. Wherefore, security being the true design and end of government, it unanswerably follows that whatever form thereof appears most likely to ensure it to us, with the least expense and greatest benefit, is preferable to all others.

I understand your concern / question. But, sometimes better questions highlight an incident and ask as question. Lesser quality questions lean more heavily on hyperbole, twisted logic. Then there's this one - many respondents knew coming out of the chute what was going on given the history of the OP and the nature of his question. The OP has defended himself, wondering how in the world could we think he would possibly dis the president!

Now, you can buy into the OP's position if that suits you. I mean my position wouldn't likely withstand the scrutiny of a court trial. But, this isn't a court trial, and it seems pretty clear to me that the OP was simply trying to stir the shit pot.

Seems to me the OP's little game (that he admits himself to be playing) backfired on him this time. Respondents have for the most part never even addressed the OP's thinly veiled attempt to label the president as a gangster. They just told the OP to STFU.

I see where you're coming from, but I still think almost all the political post I've seen lately on here were meant to stir the pot.

Even the better ones sighting an incident, clearly had a little extra pot shot in it of BS or heavy misleading info.

True, but should it being only trolling based on results? ... what's to stop the other trolling that just happens to get different results? Or is that not trolling?

I think all the political misleading shots is trolling.

President Trump is FINALLY a Republican President who's not a politician, therefore he's not PC or bought and paid for, thus he has the gonads as a Republican CIC to give it right back IN THE SAME MANNER as you all do....whereas GHWB 41 and GWB 43 took the "high road" when they were constantly attacked by our MSM and celebrities **** US OFF for ACTING "Presidential"....where WE THE PEOPLE wanted them to say to those celebrities and alphabet networks, "oh just
"F*** OFF, you're all freakin' hypocrites!".... thus why Trump being TRUMP was so refreshing as a non-politician who talked how we all talk connecting with us all, as well as his policies making COMMON SENSE to the working Middle Class American people.

My blue collar dad said to me when I came home from my 1st day at work, getting a job working as an entry level employee for a Fortune 500 company at 19 years old and me being so excited to be working at a big corporation with so many 'smart' people.... "___always remember this, just because someone you work with has a college degree, it doesn't mean they're smarter than you, because most of those smart people don't have any common sense."

Man, that advice from my dad resonated with me so much when I was a young, single working mom, as well as when I got older choosing to be a stay at home mom while dealing with my kids teachers, their pediatricians and dentists telling ME what they thought was best for my kids....3 years ago an oral surgeon actually wanted to prescribe my then 16 year old son with an anti-anxiety med for my son to take the night before his wisdom teeth were to be taken out, to "relieve" my son of any anxiety he WOULD be "feeling" the night before his oral surgery...where my COMMON SENSE kicked in that this "smart" oral surgeon DOCTOR was NUTS for wanting to prescribe my 16 year old son with anti-anxiety meds the night before getting his wisdom teeth pulled!!!
Sadly though, a lot of parents just blindly believe whatever their kids doctors tell them as to what's best for their kids.. thus for the past 30 years kids being prescribed legal drugs by their doctors, with their parent's consent because those parents just blindly believe whatever their "smart" doctors tell them to do.

Yeah Trump is a politician NOW only because he was elected as our CIC...where the difference between Trump as our CIC being a"politician" and our LIFER politicians, is that Trump didn't run for office to become rich or powerful(he already was), whereas most of our LIFER Rinos and Dems ran/run for office and keep running to be re-elected to BECOME rich and powerful themselves, on our DIME as our representatives for WE THE PEOPLE.

Aren't you curious as to how or why our country's lifer politicians (Democrat or Republican) are all so wealthy JUST living off of their Congress or Senate salaries?

Research the net worth of a lifer POLITICIAN prior to being elected to any office, compared to what their net worth is now as lifer politicians.

What's telling about our "politicians" is that Trump as a non politician(not taking any pay as our CIC) net worth went down being our CIC...whereas, the Bush's, the Clintons, Obama's, as well our LIFER politicians net worth went all went UP, hmm WHY is that?

A lot of what you have said is very much correct.

But Trump has been a politician for many many years. Which is the reason he has been known and connected with the Clintons. Also Trump was a politician with many of his businesses.

In his businesses Trump has pretended to be a public relations man named John Baron, and a spokesman who went by the name John Miller in talking with media, trying to manipulative the news stories in devious ways, just like all (or almost all) politicians do. Trump is new to being an elected official, but give the man credit, he's an expert in some of the business tactics of being a politician.
