If time didn't exist before the Big Bang, how could the Big Bang possibly have happened?

Top Comment

There has always been time; there has always been space, there has always been matter. There always will be. Those things are all part of GOD, who also has always been and will always be.

God says there was a beginning. What else do you need, a man to come back from the grave?

The point is we can't know anything that the bible doesn't tell us. Human science is defined by observations, and nobody has observed any of the things they have presented here.

Let's think this thing through:
"Big Bang" is implied by
"Receding Galaxies", which are implied by
"Doppler Effect", which is caused by
"Motion Away From Us", which is assumed from
"Red Shifted Light"

So we have this remarkable train of logic all based on a single phenomenon and an assumption. If that assumption is wrong then most of what we think we know about the universe ain't so. Well, Doppler effect is not the only cause of red shift.

Short version:

"Who verily knows and who can here declare it, whence it was born and whence comes this creation?
The [lesser] Gods are later than this world's production. Who knows then whence it first came into being?
He, the first origin of this creation, whether he formed it all or did not form it,
Whose eye controls this world in highest heaven, he verily knows it.
Or perhaps he knows not."

There could have been more than one Big Bang. Time is irrelevant.
