Say you bought some land that has a Mountain on it. Say you decided to dig into the mountain.. Not for precious gems. Not for metals nor irrigation.. Simply for the sake of Art. Something that could still be seen from the air.. Thousands, if not Hundreds of Thousands of years after you die... Could you come up with a design?

Sure.
Prolly goin' with something from the Roman Empire dealing with fertility. What could be better than a Roman bronze clasp from the 1st century AD?

Accretion discs, seeing it from space or seeing it on the broadside of a mountain would be awesome.

Though I could do one better with architecture and seeing it from space would include a bridge over a round lake, and around that lake is a round highway that goes around the lake in a circle, a lake-roundabout, that includes off ramps and on ramps to the bridge-way at the inside-most lane, with similar at the edge lanes.

With enough drivers like Los Angeles traffic, the lights from the cars, bridge, and roundabout would create the illusion of an accretion disc!

Serpent Mound located in ohio
don't look like much from the ground as you walk

it's a effigy....a mound in the shape of an animal

I do have a cave...double super secret guarded by some "very old standing stones" about a mile away
some books
few maps
crayons an pencils
paper
some other stuff
all in seal a meal bags

I placed a copy of the United States Constitution in there
instead of painting the walls

I figure I'm building a time capsule for future woodland brothers
