+4,946 If Obama made it rain cookies, the headlines would just say "Government Leaves Millions Milkless", amirite?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Obama sucks. he hasn't done anything he said he was going to do. In fact, he has just made stuff worse.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

It's hard to fix a country after someone ruined it completely. you can't expect it to be fixed the second day he's in office.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

but maybe... just maybe, the third day

by Anonymous 14 years ago

If you're inferring that former President Bush is to blame, grow up you liberal idiot. Sure, he made his share of mistakes, just like any other president, but overall he did the best he could. (I can't wait to see the mistakes Obama has in store.) Anyway, if there is anyone that ruined this nation, it was Jimmy Carter.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Yeah, because two wars had NOTHING to do with obliterating Clinton's budget surplus. Of course.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

yes, lets let people ram planes into whatever they want

by Anonymous 13 years ago

only have one question for you... why didn't you stop 9/11? i mean since your blaming one person might as well blame you. while we are blaming single people, then lets blame Obama for the oil spill since he didn't stop it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

noooo. youre dumb.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, Bush did get notified about 9/11 before hand, and yet so many people still died. And HE MADE HIS SHARE OF MISTAKES? Are you serious? Have you watched any neutral news lately? Oh, and one final thing. As far as I know, Obama has managed to SAVE THE COUNTRY FROM THE GREAT DEPRESSION PART II, which by the way was also part I'm-only-gonna-tax-the-people-that-can't-afford-it Bush, and not to mention PASSED THE HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL. Call us liberal maniacs all you want, but just look at each president's resume.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lol "neutral news"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ignore the fact that you don't like Obama, why would you want our President, the person to make decisions about us, to make mistakes?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh yeah? I bet you think Dick Cheney blew that guys head off by accident too. You've been brainwashed, and you probably don't even make enough money to benefit from having Republicans in office. Were you raised Republican, happily sucking up their bullshit with a straw? Unintelligent people choose political parties like sports teams. "I was raised a Giants fan" Please don't make me vomit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's been a year buddy. Your counting is just a little off. 364 days. Not much.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

That is exactly what this post is saying, stupid!

by Anonymous 14 years ago

totally

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It depends on which newspaper the headlines are on. Some newspapers are biased and totally love Obama.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Word.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Yes, because definitely more papers are biased for Obama, and not against him...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And the real newspapers trumpet headlines of death panels, right?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Yeah, at least 90% of newspapers are extremely pro-Obama. They give him EVERY break...It's really annoying =

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Are you kidding me?? Fox news is the most conservative news station ever. They are so annoying. The other stations are slightly liberal, but not enough to say they're extremely biased. Glenn Beck is the biggest asshole.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why did you bring Fox into this? I said newspapers, not news stations/channels. And still, Fox is ONE news station. There are TONS more liberal ones out there you can watch. No one's FORCING you to watch Fox, so don't complain about it. And yeah, most news stations ARE for Obama. The ones you say are 'slightly liberal'. Yeah, those ones. But then again, we both have 2 way different political views, so we're both pretty biased.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Now i'm hungry for cookies

by Anonymous 14 years ago

cookies

by Anonymous 14 years ago

It is annoying that everyone loves him, until he's voted in and does exactly what he said he was going to do.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

agreed!!!!

by Anonymous 14 years ago

You're an idiot. He hasn't done ANYTHING he said he was going to do, except for health care, which the majority of Americans were opposed to anyways!

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Not true... it wouldn't have gotten passed if that was the case. Congress members do have to get re-elected, and the only reason it seems like "the majority of Americans were opposed" to it was because it's people like you that were screaming and whining about it. And it's not polite to call people idiots.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

even polls from left leaning sources showed that americans were opposed to the bill

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He would never make it rain cookies, he would say he was going to make it rain cookies and then not come through.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

(ex-obama supporter): he'd say it's going to rain cookies and then it'd rain just chocolate chips

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Ahahahhahah

by Anonymous 14 years ago

@60529 (AdventureLad): And then everyone would get angry because he isn't god.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I'd be okay with that. The chocolate is the best part.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

(ex-obama supporter): Haha EXACTLY.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

(ex-obama supporter): Please know, you just made my day. You are right in every aspect

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Or it would say that Obama supports obesity in America being that the cookies were not fat free.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Another Fox News headline: "Global Warming A Sham. Take That Al Gore."

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Can you imagine the dents that cookies would leave in cars? Yikes.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

isnt this a repeat post anthony?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

lol, this is his post. From a couple months ago, but still the same original :D

by Anonymous 14 years ago

ohhh ok so people are just discovering it now i see. . .so oinkmooey why is your name all purple when everyone else's is blue? or is it just my computer. . .

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I think you're going crazy D: Naw, I'm a mod along with some others.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

whaaa why am i going crazy? and whats a mod

by Anonymous 14 years ago

We delete and approve stuff.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

nice. how does all the power feel?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

...reminds me of Fox :P

by Anonymous 14 years ago

YES.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

umm so are you on obamas side or not? i dont get it..but i voted "YES!" because i like cookies :)

by Anonymous 14 years ago

They are on Obama's side because they're making fun of idiots who say stupid things about Obama.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What happened to the favorite button? Has it been moved or what? I don't see it.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

It's the little red heart button.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I just clicked YYA and realized that I changed the number from 1337 to 1338. I instantly regreted it.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Shame on you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I honestly wish I could see how some people would run the government and make these magical changes over night. The health care reform is a huge step forward. This post is really funny though because it truthfully is something Fox news would say.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

CANADIANS SAY WUT

by Anonymous 14 years ago

that would be the headlines if a republican was in office

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I'm sure he could make it rain with all the tax taxes he's going to raise. Government is always bloated and wasteful. Agencies use end-of-year spending to prevent budget decreases, because that's how the budget system works. Government should be kept out of any industry that can function via the private sector.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I heart cookies & Obama!!! If only Australia could have a cool leader, no offence Kevin

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some people will simply never be satisfied. Annoying but true. As for me, I think I would like to move to the mountains where it's just me, an ice rink, and Evan Lysacek.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Look these up guys, learn all about it- Climate gate Banned Books Association Government indoctrination in schools and this- I am fourteen. I've read most all these posts, and what upsets me, is that, Obama supporters can't see the other view, they are dedicated to saying anything against anti-Obama groups. Such as Tea-partiers I've been to one with my friend, and it was a peaceful little protest inside a baseball stadium. To tell the truth, I had some fun. there are those who hate on Fox and say things like "OH yeah, they're biased, don't listen to biased people." But what they totally miss, is that, they (Fox) TELL you that they're biased, you hear? They told the TRUTH! But the other channels will go on like "Oh what? We're not biased, and if you think we are, your a racist, biased, capitalist (like as if it were a bad thing), and war-monger, but wait, here's my opinion on the subject..." I'll have my freedom, guns, and money, you can keep the change ;)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

what a brainwashed little 14 year old

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I almost feel sorry for you... Lemme guess. You only watch Fox, your parents are either hard right or Tea Partiers, and you don't see un-biased, original content. Such a shame, the media is corrupting our youth...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@131266 (Anonymous): This is supposed to be a comment section, not an essay exhibit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lmfao i didn't even bother reading that big ass wall of text of hers

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Im in the US illigally and Im glad obama is the president. He will make my life easier:)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's so annoying when people will look for every little thing to bash Obama. he's not that freaking bad people!!! And how can you say he's stupid?! You're a fucking retard compared to him! God! political parties these days...and what they did to 8th graders.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

THANK YOU.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ok im not 14 im 12 and what i have to say is: 1. The freedom guns money thing is ignorant and uneducated... freedom, sure, that's what America has been campaigning for for WHO KNOWS how long and Obama is not going to try to take that away from us, but by saying you'll keep your freedom you imply that there is a chance that could be taken away... The guns thing is stupid because if we keep on blasting each other with firepower then eventually the only survivors will be rich, gluttonous powermongers and their brainwashed masses. War hardly effects those of us in our cushy little split levels and 700,000 dollar luxury homes, but we aren't the olly ones out there. In other countries, even in this country awile ago, war brought famine, poverty and other things that you wouldn't know.To be continued, new post coming up...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And about the money thing... I can't say that the recession isn't hitting us hard, my mom's a college teacher and is subject to furloughs, pay cuts, and has only gotten a tiny check from the government to help her along... she can hardly pay the bills, but she has no habits like drinking, smoking, or drugs, she doesn't shop or eat excessively, and she works overtime and has another part time job as an art reviewer who writes articles for numerous journals. She deserves better, but you can't say that Obama is the only person to blame for her troubles. He should be giving more to regular people and less to mega corporations. I have to give that one to you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ok you can stop reading now if you want, I'm gonna go on for a while... The Tea Party movement may be peaceful, but it's not informed. Some of the people there don't even know what they're protesting, they're just there because it 'seemed fun, and everyone was going.' from your post, you seem like one of those people. And yeah, the liberal stations are biased, they're probably INCREDIBLY biased, but so is everyone, and you can't blame Obama for their views. I could go on even more, but I won't. Yeah, I'm a hippie, yeah, I'm dreaming, but 150 yers ago flying was for birds and dreams.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Someone did their research... cheers to the educated and open minded.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

More essays?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

genius

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Odd, it seems I heard this one about 5 years ago, only it was Pres. Bush. I wonder this many people would agree if we put his name in this post instead of Obama...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that would be interesting... see how much more or less popular he is when compared to obama... of course, there are some people (like me) whose opinions you can't change, no matter what you say. guess who i like better?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would still agree with it. People are going to blame the government for everything, no matter who the president is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I didn't read any of the previous comments - I just wanted to congratulate the original poster on a great analogy :) Us Brits <3 Obama

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thats funny that brits care about obama because i really can't tell you who the prime minister is or any other political person is there

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i know nothing about british politics other than the minister of magic.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some people will just never be satisfied, which is proven in our government every day, and all 78 comments on this post.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Chocolate chip isn't good enough. The American people now want peanut butter.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Obama hasen't done anything for america since he has been in office since the health bill is the most important thing... lets pay for the lazy people of the usa health while hard working americans can still work and pay for them

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't think you understand how hard it is to be jobless. You can lose your home and your car. And on most job applications it does have a place to put your address, correct? Hmm, you don't have an address. Does this make me lazy? At least now, I don't have to worry about my health too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Do you guys notice that almost all of the red comments have thumbs down?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think it is sad and disappointing that our nation gets more and more liberal after every passing day.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thank God it is becoming more liberal. But then again what do I care, I'm Canadian (which currently has a crappy right-wing government right now).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think that with the Conservatives working and the NDP having a solid seat, things will get done. Harper won't be able to do just anything because of the NDP influence. So I think it'll work out quite well (but then again, this is ages since you posted that).

by Anonymous 12 years ago

*ignores all the political arguments* Haha this post is so funny :) agree with you 100%

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, except for FOX news most media is pro-Obama.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not exactly "pro-Obama". Just because a news station won't bash and insult a sitting president, it doesn't mean they're for him.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Did you know. there's actually a book called, "A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (And Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media"?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think the headlines would be more like " Obama facilitates obesity crisis."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I saw this and it reminded me of this post http://ctrlv.in/64607
