The people that said no way to this are the ones that don't get it. Lolz

I think you meant to put "the internet" where you put "Facebook". That would be more accurate.

Umm.... No.. not really.

it's changing the way they are, but I don't think it is ruining them

why is there 2 amirite's at the end

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"Why are there two amirite's at the end?" ...and I think it's because the OP put amiRIGHT instead of amiRITE, so the format of the post was wrong. I think it automatically adds the amirite if it's not there in the proper format.

Which is why mine has become extinct. It's very relieving to just delete it.

Can't argue with that.

Its improving social skills if anything, it allows people to get intouch, communucate and converse with more people at a more frequent rate.

It makes people lazy but its a valuable tool nonetheless.

I'm communicating with a lot of people I wouldn't communicate with as much if it wasn't for facebook, so.... I disagree, but it's still a good point OP is making.

I actually see lots of people making plans over Facebook. That's how my friend and I coordinated our hospital volunteer schedule so we could be MORE social, and do our hours together. (:

Facebook is not ruining anything at all, it allows people to talk to eachother and get to no eachother and things that you would usually no by just talking to someone, and i dotn see anythwrong with this. Obviously people still speak face-to-face and dont only communicate this way, its a good thing!!!!

Facebook and the internet are a joke. Unless people let everyone else know every time they go take a shit or that they just put the kid down for a nap, they think they are missing something. It's also easier to be cocky and nasty behind a keyboard. I'll guarantee 9/10 of you wouldn't have the guts to say something to someone's face as quick as you are to post it. Then of course, there's some of us that will say anthing to another person's face as well. Facebook/the internet are a ruination of civilization. People grow the f**k up. Stop allowing society to control you and stand up for yourself! Stand up for yourself by saying something to someone's face instead of hiding behind a keyboard. Read a book or watch a good movie to keep occupied. You'll find yourself a much happier person!

The Internet in general is making you feel more awkward in real life. I had a friend who *was* [She quit because she realised it wasn't doing her any good] obsessed with Xanga, She told me something I was quite shocked to hear and I realised how powerful social networking really is, she told me something along these lines: ''I was talking to a friend online. Not someone that I know in real life, but someone that I know just through Xanga. I found that I was able to tell this friend something that I have only ever told one of my real life friends.'' notice how she had told me ''Real friends'' in the end? well, that proves one thing, who ever you meet online could be putting on a mask, they could not be real at all. What good is this doing anyways?
