+1,942 Republican vs Democrat, Conservative vs Labour, Confederates vs Unionists, Revolutionaries vs British, Capitalism vs Communism. All these conflicts revolve around a single question, which colour is better, red or blue? Amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, no. Republicans are red. Communism is red. Republicans hate communism. So whoever came up with those colors screwed up majorly.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Whoever came up with the colours was around long before Karl Marx was even born.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Karl Marx, evil bastard!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Idiot...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This post isn't saying that all the reds were always on the same side, or that all the blues were always on the same side; it's just saying that red and blue have been at conflict for a while, regardless of what the colors stood for.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

u forgot the bloodz and the cripz :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And YOU forgot the 'y' and 'o' that go with that 'u'.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why did Donut have to die? :'(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

BLUE!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Democrats aren't communists. They're also much smarter than Republicans. Third, blue is a much better color than red:)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well, when we pitted these two colors together in a competition, namely football, we have seen time and time again that blue triumphs over red. also, I agree, blue is a cooler color.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You've really made the Democrats proud today.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exactly the kind of ignorance one would expect from a Democrat. And blue looks gay. Red is more manly.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

so it's manly to kill your citizens and live in poverty and keep your country closed out from others???

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exactly the type of generalization one would expect from a tool. Both of your comments sucked. On the upside, though, I'm feeling mighty superior right now.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm a democrat, but I think I hate you. Thanks for being an ignorant ass. It's people like you who make me embarrassed for being a democrat. And ignorant Republicans are just as bad (scrantoncity).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well the important thing here is that you found a way to be superior to both camps. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Goddamn it. Don't generalize. Some Democrats are smart, some aren't. Some Republicans are smart, some aren't. I like blue more than red, but I'm still a Republican. And Scrantoncity, you embarrass me and other Republicans who actually look at facts. And Llama, I like you. You understand that not all Democrats/Republicans are ignorant just because of their political party. You have my stamp of approval.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

blue

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't forget about pepsi vs coke!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My thoughts exactly.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's CONSERVATIVE and LIBERAL ! not CONSERVATIVE and LABOUR...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well dumbass in britain it's called the Labour party.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Idiot. In Britain the two major parties are the Conservative and Unionist Party (Blue) and the Labour Party (Red).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's a bit confusing 'cause in America the Republican Party is red and Democrat is blue.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Confederate is grey, if I'm not mistaken...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Zelda Bean): I'm British, don't expect me to know these things...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i expect anyone expressing an opinion to know what they are talking about :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just find it funny how a few posts above this the English people were calling the person who didn't know about the Labour party and "Idiot" and an "ignorant American", when the poster can't get the Confederate color right.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's only okay to call Americans stupid based on their nationality. /s

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Zelda Bean): But union is blue.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Zelda Bean): but the confederate flag has both blue AND red, right?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

both, rock chalk jayhawk baby.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So many people missed the point of this... sigh.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

every one knows red goes faster

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Then why are stop signs red.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually insurance companies sometimes charge more for people with red cars because of some psychological thing.. so...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I read that somewhere, too. Cops are more likely to pull over red/brightly colored cars than a darker colored car.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Red vs. Blue? Seven wins.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

elohel you is so funny man.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Colorwise, I prefer red because it's the color of blood. Needless to say, I love blood.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fail.... the Confederate color was grey, wasn't it? :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol, confidence. Yes it was, I apologise - we never learned the American Civil War at school in England, we were too busy with the other 990 years of history.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

But Britain's flag is red and blue :S

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Blue usually represents water and red represents fire. Water puts out fire. Blue is better.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No fire burns water!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Only if there's a ton of oil in the water. Have you even taken middle school science?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

BLUE!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ummmmmm its britain vs. colonists NOT Britain vs. revolutuionairies Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The colonists WERE the revolutionists, DUMBASS.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the person said revolutionairies not revolutionists and neither are even words :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, I believe you will find "revolutionary" is a word, and its plural form is "revolutionaries." It isn't the OP's fault that you mistakenly added an "i" that they didn't have.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

revolutionary is and adjective not so it cannot be mad into a person it describes a war a revolutionary war making it and adjective so it revolutionaries are NOT a thing :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Care to try that again? This time, please make sure you spell at least half of the words right.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

revolutionary is an adjective therefore it cannot be made into a noun it is describing a war, the revolutionary war so the word revolutionaries does NOT exist u idiot

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, I love it when trolls realize they're wrong and try to compensate with insults. Allow me to educate you with a real, physical copy of "Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary" that I'm holding on my lap right now: revolutionary n, pl -aries : REVOLUTIONIST. So of course, I looked for "revolutionist." I found it on the next page: revolutionist (here they had a pronunciation, which I lack the tools to copy) n 1 : one engaged in a revolution 2 : an adherent or advocate of revolutionary doctrines. Did you understand all that? I can explain further if you wish.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes i did i am not two years old u idiot i can read but the post did not say revolutionist it said revolutionaries vs. british which isnt a person revolutionaries is plural for revolutionary which means bring out major or fundamental change (yes i looked this up) so revolutionaries (plural for revolutionary) just means multiple major changes not the people and if you look up this war the two sides fighting are the british and the colonists not revolutionists :) hahaha u just lost

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh my gosh. You can read, yes? If you could, you would notice that neither form of the word is an adjective. Both are people, the first being someone who is physically taking part in a revolution, and the second being someone who upholds the idea of a revolution. They BOTH apply to the function the OP used them for, though I would have suggested they call them specifically AMERICAN revolutionaries.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@417035@417035 (TheWeasel): yes iget that but i am talking about the word revolutionaries which i looked up and means plural of a major change revolutionaries is a plural noun a thing not a person so it would either be colonists or AMERICAN revolutionISTS not revolutionaries k

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There are two meanings of "revolutionary." One is an adjective, the other is a noun. The noun form of it means the EXACT same thing as "revolutionist." Apparently, I SHOULD have explained the dictionary more to you, as you clearly do not understand it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This thread is amazing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You're amazing. hello

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Grey anyone?

by Anonymous 13 years ago
