nah i dont think any band will become as popular as the beatles cause people with good tastes in music generaly dont like commercial music these days and even if they were that good people would stop liking them. and micheal jackson doesnt count cause he isnt a band and it doesnt take an idiot to no he is the most amazing thing ever!

The Beatles had 24 U.S. #1 singles in their career. During the week of April 4, 1964, The Beatles held twelve positions on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, including the top five positions. No other artist has even gotten close to their record. Also, decades after the band broke up, nearly everyone on earth recognizes their songs, even people like me who weren't alive back then. I doubt kids will still listen to Lady Gaga or anything thirty years down the road.
