+1,388 it's not particularly Twilight you hate, but the ridiculous obsessive girl fandom that arrived only after the movies, not the books. Amirite?

My friend is just like that. She's never read the books, and I have to constantly remind her of the names of characters! All she says is 'I like Jasper' and gush about Jacob!

Fff... I hate the fangirls and all, but the books themselves are frustrating on their own.

I liked the books before all the media about it and stuff. I hate when people who haven't read the books go Team Jacob or Team Edward for Robert Pattenson or Taylor Lautner's looks.

I read twilight back iin 2005 when it first came out. It was terrible then and it's terrible now.

Shit will always be shit, popularity does not cover up its shitness.

I really wouldn't care less about how badly written Twilight is if it wasn't for all the fangirls who think it's the best freaking literature in the world.

Especially the girls who constantly say they know everything about the Twilight Saga, but they've only watched the movies.

The books themselves are g r e a t, but the movies are disgraceful.

considering the massive amount of literary flaws in the writing of said books (and yes, I have read them), I would hate the series regardless.

When the books came out, I just assumed they would be another set of sub-par fantasy books, I read them and thought... uh okay, not that great. But if I hear one more fangirl scream about team Edward or team Jacob someone's gonna die!
