it's not love if it's not mutual

It can be love if isnt mutual. Love doesnt have to be corresponded, in fact real love is the one that loves no matter what, selflessly, without expectin anything from the other person.

No it cant, true love is supposed to be (in summary) about being happy, feeling whole with your significant other... how do you -not- expect your love to be corresponded? If you're not loved back, you're certainly NOT happy...and that, again, is what true love is supposed to be about: true happiness/bliss, finding your soulmate.. what you've just described is nothing of either^

so you don't believe in unrequitted love? i agree with the other person. it's possible to be in love with someone who doesnt love you back. besides, maybe its someone you just never really considered but once you get to know them you could fall in love with them too

i, personally, do not believe in unrequited love.. i mean you're right.. you could fall in love with someone after a while, etc.. but i don't think it's love if the person we love doesn't love us back. if that's the case, then what we feel is rather an 'intense like' (lol icant think of a better way to put it) -maybe it's just my way of letting go if i'm not loved back, "It's not true love, so i can get over it..." uknow?

theres a difference in loving someone and being "in love with them" "in love" is the little things they do that make them them while love is something that happens over time as you get to know a person

By in love, for the purposes of this post, I just really meant attracted to. I didn't mean to start a huge debate on the true meaning of love and being in love. :P

believe me when I was 10 I had the biggest crush in the world. and I liked that guy for about 4 years. I was always dreaming about love lol
