What does castrated mean?

pedophiles that are rapists should be castrated, yes, but pedophiles aren't ALWAYS rapists just saying :/

The public spectacle of castrating rapists & pedophiles might well make an excellent deterrent to those who might commit these crimes. Trouble is, they will order testosterone replacement online, increase their T levels above normal levels, and their drive to commit these crimes would be higher than ever. Also, women have traditionally exploited the frailty of the testicles to fight off a male attacker; a castrated man would be a formidable opponent for any woman to tackle.
