I know most of the people who disagreed with this are probably thinking about the stereotypical pretty, dumb, blonde cheerleader. I totally agree with those who think that those people are NOT athletes. However there are a lot of people who do competetive cheer and it's REALLY intense. It's like gymnastics or ballet and competetive cheer really SHOULD be considered a sport.

I LOOVVE cheerleaders well really just women in general but anyways, we have cheerleaders to 1. Make other schools look ugly 2. Have something to look at during half time 3. piss off our girlfriends... :)

it depends on if they're a team that does tricks and dances, or JUST cheers.
