+240 It's kind of dumb that cashiers always ask, "Did you find everything okay?" I mean, I'm checking out... Obviously I found everything okay, amirite?

What if you're checking out, but had the hugest fuckin' stuggle to find your stuff. haha Then you didn't find everything okay (in this context meaning easily), but you did still find everything.

You'd be surprised at how many people come up to the check out registers to ask where something is. Or the many times they make me bring shit up front for them because they 'couldn't find it' (I get people making me bring up 30 jars of baby food and then getting mad because it's the wrong flavor). They have to ask :-/

I work at jcpenney and we ask thay cause if soemone says no we offer to order if for them in whatev size or color they want that they didn't find on the floor

I get that. I worked sales for 3 years and I asked this question every day. I know its protocol. It's just funny when you really think about what you're asking.

I'm a cashier at a grocery store and never ask, I'm probably supposed to, but if a customer didn't find something and wants it brought up-they'll just tell me.
