+397 When you see the weather report and it says "partly cloudy" and then the next day it says "partly sunny"; what’s the difference? amirite?

Partly cloudy also means its mostly sunny, as in minimal cloud coverage. Partly sunny means its really cloudy with a little bit of sunshine.

because no one else cares....

I think maybe they mean the difference between news reports one day of partly cloudy, then again of mostly sunny. I still haven't figured out that difference yet. Maybe the optimism of the weather person?
