No? It just means you're awkward...

I was watching this british talk show once, and they were talking about the difference between opening a gift with the person who gave it to you, and opening it alone, and when you are with them you are like "Ohhhh a scarf! thanks i LOVE it!!" and when you are alone, you are like "What the fuck, i never wear scarves, stupid bitch."

If it's really good I don't think that you're worried about putting on a happy face.

Nahh it's easy to get a gift on a special occasion such as Christmas or ur birthday but other than that it is pretty akward

For me it is, but I'm not the kind of person who acts all excited and jumpy and cheery. My mom got me the perfect phone for Christmas, and I was really happy about it. I hugged her and was like, "Thanks!" Everyone believed that I wasn't thankful or didn't like it or something, but I really did! That's why receiving gifts for me is awkward. I never act as excited as the person wishes me to. If I do, i feel like I'm being fake.

I'm the opposite. I get really excited about really small gifts, so if someone doesn't know me, they might think I don't like it and a, trying too hard to look like I do. But it really is just my natural reaction.

I think it's better to be like you are. I'm never excited enough and everyone gets offended or wonders if I'm upset or something, lol. My sister always gets excited; I'm not a very emotional person. :)
