+513 I get tired of all the actresses and magazine models either being a size 0 or plus size. Why are there no in between. Not every one is either plus size or petite. Just because you are a size 9 in juniors doesn't make you fat. Amirite?

Normal women are around a size 9-10 and most teens are a 7-9 as well, they need real 'models' ones who actually eat food, healthy food, and are at their ideal weight!

the thing im most mad about is that the fashion industry thinks plus size is size 8 and up! size 8-10 is not plus size is normal, and healthy!

yes mam! i totally agree with both of you!!

I don't like it when they're so skinny that you can see their bones o_e

It depends on how tall you are and how large your build is. For me a size 9 would be obese and an american size 0 - 2 (which is really a size 4 - 6 because americans vanity size) is normal and doesn't look skinny/ skin and bones. Since an american size 9 is really about a 12 - 13, one would have to be taller, with a larger build and broader hips for it to be normal. Your doctor would tell you if you were overweight though.

Also, the size 0 models you see are not petite. Petite means small and short, not 6 ft tall.

Thats the way the model world is. sorry. there are people who are in between, its just that their not runway models. they are usually backround models or commercial models. but when it comes to models being too skinny, thats just how it is. thats how the biggest brands think their designs would be complemented the most. and..i dont really know anything about plus size models. thats just how i see it...

I'm six ft tall and I wear a size nine. If I lost weight I would look too skinny and gross. I used to wish to be a model until I realized they had to be in a size zero to three. I have no desire to be that small.

They make people feel so bad about themselves. Even people who KNOW it's okay to be a size 3/4 or 5/6 or whatever. The pressure of school, TV, etc. gets to everyone in one way or another. And the new "style" of shirts involve clingy/really thin shirts, so girls feel even more pressured into not having their "fat" show.

I still think people who are size zero look ugly anyway.

(Ron Paul): Wow. Not everyone who is a size zero starves themselves to achieve it, you know. Some people like me are just naturally skinny. I eat what I want and exercise, but I don't really gain or lose weight. To say all people who are size zero are ugly is stupid, as is the conception that all of them are a bag of bones or must be anorexic.

I'm 15, a size 00, happy, and do not have an eating disorder. Kill me why don't you.

i hate the labels "Fat" and "skinny". can't we just be people? I mean, I don't think size matters as long as you're healthy.
